Story

Cuckoo is a small, established rental agent specialising in student and young professional lets in the Huddersfield area.

Cuckoo was in need of a brand update—not only was the current ID dated, but the business is shifting into a wider market so needs to appeal not only to students, but professional renters too.

Result

The identity is a nod to the cheeky antics of the cuckoo bird, who deposits its eggs into other bird nests! It also represents Cuckoo’s tenants looking for their nest, however temporary that home may be.

The colour palette is inspired by the beautiful shades of cuckoo eggs, which can vary between a vibrant teal to brown.

I also designed a fresh new website for Cuckoo—it proudly presents all of their properties, as well as vital info for prospective tenants.
