Story

Ingrid Raphael is a skincare consultant working from her London clinic, offering bespoke consultations and nurturing treatments to improve the health and appearance of skin.

Ingrid offers bespoke consultations and treatments with a holistic, and some say ‘magical’ touch! She is inspired by the power of elemental energies and seeks to bring calm and well-being to her clients via this method.

Ingrid had previously worked with a number of other designers, but she was feeling a little lost and like she wasn’t being heard. Her brand identity was feeling incohesive and lacking the attention it deserved.

The beauty industry is full of vanilla brands and clichéd messaging.The Ingrid Raphael brand had the potential to be much more than this and we both knew it!

Grounded in science, but guided by soul, Ingrid has a strong vision and a confident tone and we wanted that to shine through her new branding.

Result

The aesthetic focus for her new identity is clean and modern but peppered with a brave voice and a touch of drama—supported by well-chosen photography and strong layouts.

The relatively calm colour palette of off-black and soft pink is lifted with a bright, jewel-toned pinky red to give the brand a richer, more memorable identity.

The image tone is aspirational, but still grounded and achievablewith a mixture of real skin and natural world shots.

The elements are important in Ingrid’s work so we have included the elemental symbols and worked them into a brand pattern to represent the fabric of her practice—they also pop up within other layout pieces as a nod back to her values and ethos.

We’ve worked on a huge raft of things together—brand identity, brand guidelines, social media graphics, vouchers, postcards, stationery, packaging and most recently, bespoke e-commerce website design (designed by me and developed by Zudu).
